Join in this festive fun 5k and 10k through your favourite cities. Choose one of the 19 cities listed below and tackle a 5k or 10k.
But wait, this isn't just any run. This virtual and seasonal hunt will have you looking for clues as you run. This looped circuit will have between 6 and 10 clue stops, with each clue you find forming an anagram that will reveal a close by location, and will eventually lead to the finish.
This is the perfect socially-distanced activity for the Christmas time, so grab a running buddy and sign up!

The first clue will be sent to participants at 09:00, and they can choose whichever start point is most convenient to them.
*Don't forget to time yourself and submit it to the official results page. Participants must visit all the clue sites before reaching the finish or their result won't count.
FAQs
Who can I run with in the City Scramble?
You can run solo, with members of the same household, or socially distanced with friends and family.
When do we get our clues?
Clues will be texted on race morning at 9am. You will need a smartphone to view the clues.
When do we get the medal?
Medals will be posted out shortly after the event to the address you provide at registration. Each clue will only be solvable by reaching the clue spot.
Where do we run?
Choose from any one of the 19 UK towns and cities – either the one you live in, or any that you can get to easily on foot, by bicycle or by car. Each borough and route has a set of 6-10 clue spots that you must connect with your run.
