Route information
Set in the village of Clipston in Northamptonshire, this trail running event offers rolling hills, scenic countryside and the chance to tackle either a 5-mile race or a half marathon. The 5-mile distance is the perfect opportunity to ease yourself into trail running with something a little bit shorter, whilst the half marathon is ideal for those looking for more of a challenge, with some tough uphill sections. Both races start and finish at the Clipston Recreation Ground on Station Road in Clipston.
The half marathon route starts with an uphill section into the countryside. The terrain is a mixture of bridleways and quiet country roads, with the final stretch from Kelmarsh to Clipston along a footpath.
The 5-miler follows the same route as the half marathon to begin but loops back towards Clipston once runners reach the outskirts of Kelmarsh.
Proceeds from this event will go to the Clipston Recreation Field Trust, which maintains and develops the village's playing fields. Any funds raised will go towards maintaining existing facilities, including the replacement of the tennis courts.

Clipston is a 10-minute drive from Market Harborough via Harborough Road. It is a 35-minute drive from Northampton via the A508, and is also easily accessible from Birmingham via the M6.
Parking
There will be free parking available on-site, which will be in the field opposite the Recreation Ground.
By Public Transport
The closest station is Market Harborough, which has services to Nottingham and London St Pancras. From the station, you can walk to Market Hall and can catch the 59 bus towards Welford, which stops in Clipston.
