Ran this in 2018 and although not the most interesting of courses if the wind is on your back it could give you a PB. It was well organised the transport was spot on and with the plus of a tshirt and medal.

Pretty uninspiring course with barely a spectator in sight! Path very narrow in places meaning passing other runners very difficult. Course wrongly measured! Amateurish

Loved this race. Beautiful run beside the sea - despite a brutal headwind the entire way. Main issue was the lack of water stations - just two plus a bottle at the finish line; this seems a bit stingy for the distance. Other than that, very well organised with great communication from Bespoke Fitness. Not many supporters along the route other than the marshals, but the marshals were really great and deserve a medal for standing out in that wind. Will be tempted to run this one again next year. Thanks and well done Bespoke Fitness!

Well organised event, head wind all the way, long sleeve top recommended as running along coastal path. 2 water stations and plenty of support along the way. Fabulous event and will certainly do it again

Despite the course being quite a bit too short and the relentless wind in the face, I enjoyed this run. Great PB potential (if the course was the correct distance and ideally if the wind stopped!). Good, simple organisation, no faffing about with mass starts, pointless warm-ups etc. Great t-shirt and medal. Glad I did it.

Loved the route and the experience of our first half marathon but the downside was the finish as groups of family and friends of other runners where just the other side of line to welcome them which caused u too have to weave ur way through the crowd to get ur medal etc.

I had an enjoyable experience running this super-flat course, setting a PB in the process. The course followed a point-to-point route from Colwyn Bay to Prestatyn along the north coast of North Wales. Being a point-to-point, we did unfortunately suffer from a constant headwind for the entire run, which was a little challenging. I don't live in the area, but if this is a prevailing wind, the organisers may want to run the race in the opposite direction in future years? The other thing that the organisers may want to change is the course length - my Garmin recorded the route at 12.96 miles, rather than the full 13.1, meaning there was no 'official' half marathon PB for me. All in all though a really well run event. Nice route, decent support, friendly marshals and huge PB potential (especially if you happen to run it on a non-windy day).

This event was very well organised with the coaches to ferry us to the start line and the many marshals actually on the route. I enjoyed the day and other participants seemed to enjoy the day too. I took part with a number of people from our running club and they all have said they thoroughly enjoyed the day and would happily do it again!Well done and thank you for having us!

Can't wait for next year, well organised and picturesque. nice flat course, mostly. Just brilliant. The event staff were happy and positive, band playing music on the sand at the finish line well done to the organisers.

Loved the course, good for head space. More undulating than I thought, head wind, great marshalls. Path wasnt as narrow as I was expecting so that was good too. A girl collapsed at the end who I helped but I had to walk what felt like a long way to find the first aid who apparently drove past us. I was looking gor a red cross, sign, white van? It was s grey van and no signs and he didnt appear to do very much? This was my only negative. Bagging area and transport excellent, organisation, timing super.

This was my first event after being away from running for some time. I trained for it and felt confident but nervous on the day that I would complete the course. The nerves soon went once the race commenced and I settled into a comfortable pace along side fellow runners. The event was well organised with plenty of water stops on route and energy gels if required. If I could give one piece of advice it would be, if you havent had energy gels before dont have them on the day for the first time as not everyone can tolerate them, I ended up with stomach cramps towards the end. Finished the race to cheers from a great crowd of people.
