This stunning point to point route from Holme-Next-The-Sea to Wells-Next-The-Sea follows big sections of the Norfolk Costal Path. You'll be running through small quaint villages, tidal marshes and pine woodland all whilst at a causal and social pace. This is not a race, and aims to be comfortable to runners of all levels so the pace the group will run will be the pace of the slowest person. If you are able to run a pace of 11/12 minutes a mile, this run will be comfortable for you.
You should allow 5 hours for this 19 mile run. Please note that this distance may not be completely accurate and may be very slightly over or under this milage.
There will be a fully stocked aid station at the halfway point of this run.
There is a cafe at the end of this course in Wells if you want to rest up and relax after the Coastal Guided Trail Run.

There is pay and display parking as well as some free street spaces in Holme-Next-The-Sea.
Way Back to Holme-Next-The-Sea
From the finish at Wells-Next-The-Sea, you'll need to make your own way back to your car if you parked in Holme-Next-The-Sea. There is a Coasthopper bus that can take you there which costs approximately £3.60.

You'll meet in Holme-Next-The-Sea.
Finish
The end of this run will be in Wells-Next-The-Sea where there'll be a cafe. You'll need to make your own way back to Holme-Next-The-Sea if you parked there. There is a Coasthopper bus that can take you there for around £3.60.
Aid Station
There'll be a fully stocked aid station halfway along the 19 mile route.
What You'll Need
  • Appropriate footwear for road, tracts, hard-packed trails and beach
  • Waterproof jacket (weather dependent)
  • Sun cream
  • At least 500ml of water
  • Snacks if you think you'll need them

Not at all. This event is casual and social the running pace will reflect that. The pace will be set to accommodate the slowest runner in the group.
