Route information
This 3.28 mile course will be mostly flat and along the paths and pavements surrounding the Cyclopark. There will be turn around signs along the route to make sure all runners stay on course.

There are two car parks at the Cyclopark. Please park at the overflow parking area, please park there. Please note it is Pay and Display no matter where you are parked.

Race numbers will be picked up from the main room in the Community Centre.
Lap Counts
You will be given a lap counting card at registration, at the end of each lap get this punched by one of the lap punchers.
Age Requirements
Children over the age of 11 are permitted to take part in this event so long as they are accompanied by an adult at all times and do not exceed the following distances.
- Aged 11-12 can run a maximum of 5k
- Aged 13-14 can run a maximum of 6k
- Aged 15 can run a maximum of 10k
- Aged 16 can run a maximum of 15k
- Aged 17 can run a maximum of 25k
FAQs
Do I have to run the whole time at the Coaster Challenge?
No, you can stop at any time, as long as you complete one lap you are an official finisher.
Is there a bag drop at the Coaster Challenge?
There will not be an official bag drop at the start/finish line, there will be someone around near the start so you can leave your bag there but the organiser cannot guarantee security. You can also leave your belongings in your car if you wish as the race HQ will be right at each lap mark.
Can I leave my own food and drinks at the aid stations at the Coaster Challenge?
Yes, all participants are welcome to bring their own supplies with them, and there will be a dedicated runners table for you to leave your things.
Can I listen to music on the course at the Coaster Challenge?
Yes, but be aware that you are running on public footpaths so make sure to pay attention to other path users.
