The course starts and finishes inside Colchester Zoo. Runners will be able to see Elephants, Lions, Cheetahs, Hyenas, Bears, Baboons and Giraffes to name but a few.
The route heads out of the zoo on a closed road loop which is well marshalled and signposted.
This is a flat course and often considered as a potential PB course. However it goes without saying the stunning thing about this event is the animals.
