Route information
The 51 mile route through Somerset will take participants along a trail route inspired by Samuel Coleridge, philosopher, theologian, and founder of the 'romantic poet' movement.
Starting in Nether Stowey in North-West Somerset, home to Coleridge for many years, the route follows across the moorlands and through woods which were often covered in opium, seen as both aiding Coleridge's work and causing his demise.
Runners will trail around the Quantock Hills, and the stunning routes in Exmoor, before heading along the Lyn Valley Gorge to Lynmouth.
The whole route will be way-marked and signed to ensure it is easily navigable and runners can focus on the beauty of the route not staying on track.
