This event has been run different times of the year but has been most successful when run the day before the day before The Spring Onion, as part of a DOUBLE HEADER and some say as a warm up the day before to the Spring Onion. The name of event is derived from the chain set most of us use and is a shorter sharper course which could attract riders who don't want to do a higher mileage course, in addition why not challenge yourself on a Saturday instead of soft tapping around Surrey.
