Route information
The Swim is a one lap 1.9km in the well known lake 32 based in the centre of the Ashton Keynes water park.
The Cotswold Classic V2.0 is set on a still fast, but more gently rolling, new bike course than the pancake flat Cotswold 113 course. The Classic V2.0 heads West out of the Waterpark through Kemble, Malmesbury and Minety.
With the event being held in the water park, then the athletes will be treated to a mixture of tarmac and hard pack pathing for the flat 13mile run that takes in lake side paths as well as local village routes before finishing back close to the lakeside transition in the finishers area.
Both the bike and the run are very flat in profile, so this race will suit either athletes new to the distance or more experienced racers looking to hammer a new Middle distance PB..

Can I choose my start wave for the Cotswold Classic V2.0 Middle Distance Triathlon & Relay?

They can accommodate 99.9% of wave requests, and numbers are on a first come first served basis following this email. If you just want a group of sequential numbers for you and your friends, so that you’re racked together, they can generally accommodate this too.

Did the race in 2019
Graeme @ 113 Events puts on an epic event with great execution. This starts with their frequent newsletters offering valuable updates and information regarding the race right through and even to their post-race communication. The guys at 113 bring a bit of quirk and fun to the event at the race briefings whilst still being focused on participant safety and rulings. The lake is a beautiful swim, the bike course is very fast and the run has a good mix of trail and road. The event is very family friendly and great for spectators as there are two laps on the bike and 3 laps on the run with only one transition area.. family and friends could have around 6/7 opportunities to see you during the race. The marshall's were all upbeat in isolated areas therefore there is a great atmosphere throughout and always someone pushing you on. Great event from 113!
