Event day logistics
The couch to 5k is a great way to get started with running. Simply download the app and get started. The program eases you in to running so you can easily notice progress and avoid injury.
When it gets to the end of the couch to 5k, they ask you to run your first 5k without stopping. The organiser's at Flying Gazelle feel that moment should be celebrated. So if you sign up to this race and complete that 5k, you get a bespoke medal.
Once you have completed the 5k run, email the organisers your evidence (screenshot or photo of the run, distance and date) to receive your medal.
