Cowman Triathlon routes

This event takes place in the grounds of the beautiful Emberton Country Park and Sailing Club. The grounds offer the perfect location for racers to find their edge and put some serious speed through their pedals, whilst spectators can enjoy a pleasant day in the sun.

Race Distances:

Cowman: 1.9K Swim, 90K Bike, 21.1K Run

Calfman: 900M Swim, 46K Bike, 10K Run

Stampede: 750M Swim, 22K Bike, 5.25K Run

Raceday Logistics

Packet Pickup: Packs can be collected on Saturday between 12 - 2PM and on Sunday from 5:30AM from the venue.


05:30 - Registration Opens

07:00 - Cowman Start

09:00 - Calfman Start

09:40 - Stampede Sprint Start

Please make sure to arrive at least one and a half hours before the start of your event to get parked, registered and warmed up before taking this challenge on.


Spectators are definitely encouraged to get out to this awesome event. The Emberton Country Park grounds are the perfect place for a post-race picnic and a great way to unwind after the event.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a bag drop at the Cowman Triathlon?
Yes, there will be a manned bag drop but Big Cow Events is not responsible for any missing or lost items. You are not encouraged to leave valuables at bag drop if its at all avoidable.
What time should I arrive at the Cowman Triathlon?
You should arrive at least an hour before the start of your event to give yourself enough time to get parked, registered and warmed up before race briefings start (15 minutes before each event).
When will I receive my race packet for the Cowman Triathlon?
Race packs can be picked up at the event village during registration on race day. These will not be sent out via postal service.
What cause does the Cowman Triathlon support?
The Cowman Triathlon is supporting the Willen Hospice.

    There was Haribo at the end!
    Swim was a bit 'weedy' in places, bike course was well marshaled and signed, run course took in some nice scenery. Medal is also a bottle opener - which is a double win!
    Great experience from registration to crossing the finish line. Might have to try the calfman next year!

    loved this event! fabulous venue. very handy being able to camp on site. i felt it was all very well organised, i knew where to go and when to be there!! great atmosphere the whole day
