- Very competent hikers who can manage the 15 mile distance at a quick hiking pace.

- Walkers out for a leisurely stroll. :-)
This is one picturesque route will start from Exceat, Seaford in East Sussex and take Hikers above the iconic white chalk cliff tops, lush woodland at Friston Forest, Seven Sisters Country park, Cuckmere River bank and Cuckmere Haven. There will also be a stretch of the route along the 100-mile South Downs Way.
The event is route guided, this is not a guided tour of the area, however those who are interested may spot some sites of archeological interest like Belle Tout Neolithic enclosure.
This Hike will be approximately 15 miles and start and finish in Seaford. There will be approximately 1948ft/ 581 metres of elevation making this route hilly.
Bring your back pack, and set it with a weight you are comfortable to carry throughout the entire route.

Please remember this is also a social event designed to bring people together where we will hike as a group. There'll be plenty of opportunities to enjoy the views, trails, to chat and to share trail running tips.
After the event, you'll have the opportunity to grab a coffee and cake together, or we may simply stop at Birling Gap if the mood takes us and refresh there before the seven sisters see us back to Cuckmere Haven.
