Did the race in 2019
Lovely local event, right on my doorstep! I am a Cumnor resident, so great to support this event and see lots of familiar faces on route. Well supported with spectators and marshals, who did a good job marshalling runners and drivers on what is quite a busy one way system for a small village. The 5pm start is a bit unusual (most summer races that are later in the day are 7/7:30 start), which is the reason why I haven't been able to do it before. A later start could help with there being fewer cars around, which in turn would help marshals and runners alike.Main area for improvement (like with many races) would be reduction in plastic (water bottles, bananas in bags), which the organiser has promised to look in to for next year. I'll certainly try and do it next year.
