Elevation: Undulating Terrain: Trails & Gravel paths
Experience the stunning natural beauty of Delamere Forest in Cheshire, choosing between a 10k and 5k run.
The Defeat Delamere course consists of gravel paths and trails throughout the impressive forest. If it has been raining expect parts of the course to be muddy. This undulating route is perfect for beginners and PB hunters alike. Experience the fantastic wildlife whilst you race.
Both distances are open to all abilities with routes fully marked and marshalled to direct you throughout the race.

There will be on-site parking, a small fee of £3 will apply so make sure to pay. There are 3 local car parks available:
- Treetops car park: This is close to the train station and is a 5-minute walk from the event centre
- Whitefield Car Park: This is located off the B5152 and has plenty of parking
- Main Visitor Centre Car Park: This car park has accessible car parking spaces

The closest train station is Delamere Railway Station, located on Station Road, a 15-minute walk from the start line.

Race packs
Race packs must be collected from registration which is located at the Delamere Forest Café and Information Centre.
Age Requirements
All entrants must be 14 years of age or older to participate in the 5k Defeat Delemere and 16 or older for the 10k.
Bag drop
There will be a bag drop for all participants to make use of during the event. This will be located at the start line.
Toilets
The toilets for the Defeat Delamere are located at the event registration area at the Delamere Forest Café and Information Centre.
Event photography
There will be event photography available for all participants, make sure to bring your game face. All photos will be provided free of charge.
