Route information
Part of the Ultimate Run Series, the stunning 8,500-acre Dalby Forest provides the perfect setting for this race with a cause. With new 10 mile and mini mile races for 2024 in addition to a 5k and 10k, runners will experience the amazing scenery of North York Moors National Park as they complete the multi-terrain course.
Your event will start with a pre-race warm-up session before you take on the course which features long downhills, flat, fast sections, and hidden forest terrain. The route will be well-marked and marshalled throughout.

Race Packs
You can collect your race pack including your race number and timing chip at the registration tent within the event village. Registration opens at 08.30.
Cut-Off Times
The race cut-off time is 2hrs 30mins. Roads will re-open in line with this pace.

- 10k: 15 and over
- 5k: 14 and over
- Mini miler: Open to all ages
Bag Drop
There will be no formal bag drop onsite.
Event Photography
There will be event photography available for all participants, make sure to bring your game face. All photos will be provided free of charge.

All money from Defy Dalby helps fund the vital work of the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation. In addition to your race fee, you can also set up a Just Giving page and raise money to help those living with lung cancer
