Route information
The Dinton Santa Dash returns for its 7th year, bringing festive fun to Dinton Pastures Country Park in Wokingham. Bring family and friends along and get running in your Santa suit to start a new Christmas tradition! Choose to run either the 2k Mini Dash or the full 5k Dash and get your hands on a Santa suit, Christmas-themed medal and mince pie/chocolate.
Starting near the playground, the 5k takes in the three lakes at the park - the Black Swan, Sandford and White Swan. The 2k Mini Dash is a one-loop course taking in both the White Swan and Black Swan Lake.
This event is in support of First Days Children's Charity, with £2 of every entry being donated to them. This money will provide local children with a bed to sleep in this winter.

There is ample parking available on-site at Dinton Pastures. Charges apply – please pay either at the machine or in the Dragonfly Cafe. £1.50 per hour, up to 4 hours. £6 flat rate for over 4 hours.

Registration
Registration will be located in a marquee outside the Dragonfly Cafe. Here you will receive your Santa Suit and race number. You will be required you to complete medical details and emergency contact details on the reverse of your race number.
Santa Suit
Unisex trousers are ordered by default. If you prefer a female Santa dress, please specify when booking. Those aged 3 or under will receive a Santa t-shirt and hat.
On Site Facilities
There will be toilets in the Dragonfly Cafe. As you finish, you will get a mince pie or chocolate. Further refreshments can be purchased from the cafe.
Rules Of Participation
- 2k Mini Dash – Under 8’s must be accompanied by an adult within an arm’s distance at all times.
- 5k Santa Dash – Under 11’s must be accompanied by an adult within an arm’s distance at all times.
- Children strapped in buggies/pushchairs are allowed to be pushed around for both events.
- No headphones can be worn during the run. This includes bone-conducting headphones.

No, this is an event for everyone! Children under 8 must be accompanied for the 2k Mini Dash and under 11s must be accompanied in the 5k Santa Dash.

Can I run in a Santa outfit for Dinton Santa Dash?
Yes! In fact you're encouraged to! All entrants will receive their Santa outfit at registration prior to the start.
