Route information
This mixed-distance event is set at the spectacular Dorney Lake, just outside of Windsor. The course will take you along the waters edge and loop right around the circumference of this iconic Olympic venue.
Entrants are sure to be spurred on by the memories of Team GB's golden success at the venue and this is not one to be missed.
The course will be well marshalled and clearly distance marked throughout.

Parking: Free parking will be available for race participants
Car: Exit at Junction 7 of the M4 and follow slip road to the at the bottom roundabout. Turn left onto the A4 towards Maidenhead. After traffic lights, turn left at the roundabout onto B3026, signposted for Dorney and Eton. On the sharp left-hand bend, turn right, signposted Dorney Reach. After 400m, enter Dorney Lake, Eton College Rowing Centre through large white double gates. Follow perimeter road parallel to the left of lake, down to the Boathouse.
Train: the closest train stations to Dorney Lake are are Slough and Windsor & Eton Riverside.

Participants will be set off individually at approximately 15 second intervals to ensure sufficient distance between runners. Your 15-30 minute start wave will be communicated to you before the event.

Is there a minimum age for participants in the Dorney Lake Half Marathon, 10K and 5K?
Participants must be 17 years of age to run in the half marathon, 15 years of age for the 10k and 11 for the 5k.
Can I wear my headphones or earphones during the Dorney Lake Half Marathon, 10K and 5K?
Noise cancelling headphones are strictly prohibited at the Dorney Lake Half Marathon, 10K and 5K, and the use of any other head/earphones is strongly discouraged by the race organisers.
Is there an event time limit at the Dorney Lake Half Marathon, 10K and 5K?
The Race Organiser have agreed that races must be complete by 1:30pm. Please select a distance that you can complete in this time.
Are there changing/shower facilities?
