Unleash your speed on this fast and flat course around the iconic London 2012 Olympic rowing venue of Dorney Lake. Choose to take on a socially distant 5k or 10k and snatch up a summer PB while you're at it. Come for the medal, the awesome atmosphere, and the stunning location.

Route description

This will be a lapped course around the clear and calm waters of Dorney Lake. The fast and flat surface is the perfect course for both beginners and experienced runners, and has long been known as a personal-best setting course.

The 5K course will be one lap of the lake and the 10K course will be 2.

Logistics and schedule

Race packs will be sent to you in the post 1 week prior to the event and recommended arrival times will be sent to you pre-event. If you register within one week of the event, please email the event organiser regarding your packet pick-up.


08:45: Race starts - you will be set off in small waves to ensure social distancing

Baggage Drop:

There will be no baggage drop facilities at this event this year


There will be toilets available, however, showers will not be available this year

There will be plenty of parking available, however, please note that the road will be closed at 9.45am. Anyone arriving after this time will have to park in the top car park and walk down.

By Train:

If travelling by train the main stations for Dorney Lake are Slough (Paddington line) and Windsor & Eton Riverside (from Waterloo), but it's also near Burnham, Taplow, Maidenhead and Windsor & Eton Central (branch of Paddington line). From these stations you can get a taxi or if with a bike you can ride to the venue. We recommend researching the best option before travelling to ensure you arrive on time.
