Route information
Draycote Water must be Warwickshire's best kept secret for road runners, offering stunning reservoir and countryside views. Runners can enjoy running alongside the water, using the dam wall pathways and the perimeter service road. There will be wonderful views of nature trails, wildlife and boats out on the water.
To celebrate the return of the 7 at Severn on the 7th July, the organiser is offering both the 7am and 7pm races of 7k, one lap around the water. Do the double and you’ll get a souvenir 7 at Severn buff as well as your set of two medals.
The event will have a brilliant atmosphere created by your fellow runners and the wonderful marshals, especially as you head towards the glorious home straight, where the organising team will be waiting with a finisher medal and post-race refreshments.
The Route is generally flat with a few short inclines, entirely on tarmac paths, and consists of laps around the reservoir and is suitable for runners of all abilities.
