Draycote Water 10K & 20 Mile- March routes

The 10km race begins a short walk from the race village, and begins with a 1km up and back section along the upper pathway of the Dam. Following this runners will complete a clockwise lap of the reservoir.

Runners will certainly be kept on their toes during this race, thanks to some short sharp inclines and declines. Nothing will compare to the sweeping finish along the home straight where runners will be rewarded with well earned refreshments and a finisher's medal.

The 20 mile run will follow a similar route to the 10m but runners will complete four laps of the magnificent reservoir.

    Great course and atmosphere.
Not too many hill or people! A bit windy and exposed in places but not a problem. Organisation was excellent.

This is a beautiful course, although it’s quite exposed and on this occasion extremely windy there wasn’t much shelter. It was well organised and Marshall’s were friendly and encouraging. I would do this event again.

Longer than 15 min walk to start! One of the portaloos was locked shut which made the queues longer! Great event though

Beautiful venue. Marshals were really friendly and I've never been so well fed with jelly babies throughout a race. Only downside was the wind and there was nothing the organisers could do about that. Will more than likely be back next year :)
