Route information
With countryside views and peaceful reservoir views, Draycote Water is one of Warwickshire's best kept road-running secrets. Runners will be taken along the water, using the dam wall pathways and perimeter service road, this event will be a great mix of trails, wildlife, and views of boats along the way.
With a few short inclines followed by downhill stretches, there will be plenty to look at as you go. Nothing will compare to the sweeping finish along the home straight where runners will be rewarded with well earned refreshments and a finisher's medal.

Enjoyable event. Well organised, a shame that they are not able to organise anymore here currently. Don’t go into the event thinking it’s a flat one, some cheeky hills!

Great day, fantastic turn out for runners and spectators alike, well organised. It was slightly windy but sunny, a great time was had by all, recommended for all ages and experience.

Course was about 150yd too long (check everyone’s Strava record for evidence); organisers late setting up course and markers; event started late; medal was basic; start point is 15 mins from meeting point; no spectators on 99% of course to generate atmosphere; pretty setting; nice flat bits with a few undulations; good value entry.

I love Draycote! Such a relaxed atmosphere and everyone so friendly. Easy course and love the options of different distances. Will miss it. Improved parking would help (2 paystations and very busy) but I guess that's the Draycote not the organisers. Please bring it back! 🙏🏼

Overall, lovely course and great setting. Nice medal, non-alcoholic lager, extras at the finish line etc. I believe the current organisers of the Draycote 10k have not re-won the contract. Organisation was not great, due to start at 9.30am and we stated 15 minutes late. If you're doing the half maratho, it was also a 15 minute walk to the start line! Parking situation was terrible! Needed more organisation here too. Overall though, for the value it was good.

Great course and atmosphere. Not too many hill or people! A bit windy and exposed in places but not a problem. Organisation was excellent.

This is a beautiful course, although it’s quite exposed and on this occasion extremely windy there wasn’t much shelter. It was well organised and Marshall’s were friendly and encouraging. I would do this event again.

Longer than 15 min walk to start! One of the portaloos was locked shut which made the queues longer! Great event though
