I recommend this race to anyone. Such a lovely route, great fun and so well organised. It's now my traditional Christmas run. It's great for all abilities as there is no cut off point and whether your first or last, you'll get the same great reception at the finish line... Fantastic event!!

This race wasnt flat and fast as advertised its undulating

Really enjoyed this race. Well organised with a good atmosphere.. would definatley do it again! Will look at 10K with the race organiser as that's my next target.
  • Did the event in 2018

This is not a flat course - undulating at best!
  • Did the 10k in 2018

Cafe on site. Plenty of parking (pay and display).
  • Did the 10k in 2018

Things to improve would perhaps be that when you first go over the timing mat it starts timing from when you cross the timing mat and not when the horn goes off/the first runner crosses the mat. This would help make all times more precise for runners further back in the field and will limit a slower run from what my Garmin says.
  • Did the 10k in 2018

A lovely mildly undulating course. The views of the lake are beautiful! Well organised race with a fab goody bag/ medal at the end. I plan to run this again at least a couple of times next year.
  • Did the 10k in 2018

From the reception desk to the finish line the event was really well ran and had a great atmosphere. A real mix of runners at different levels and all were encouraging which made a big difference to me out on the run.
