Well organised. Not too much waiting around. Nice views. Goody bag not as generous as they used to be. Regular course for me.

Really enjoyed the event. The only thing I did not realise was that there was no starting mat and everyone’s time went from the gun time, this was a bit of a disappointment, but apart from that, a great event

Disappointing. We were advised that because of chip timings we could start over a period of 15 minutes, but apparently only gun times were available. This was a PB for me, but the gun time added 2 minutes to my overall time. What's the point of a chip? There was a lack of atmosphere apart from the end where I was encouraged by a supporter that I could catch the runner ahead of me: So I did! Thanks to that man :-).

Shame we got there and there was no record of us booking in. Not until I showed them the email confirmation then they gave us a number. Put a bit of a dampener on it all. Nice route as always. Marshalls were kids and obviously didn’t want to be there - bless them. Medal was ok, mine said 20 mile, 10 mile, 10k, 5k etc and no tshirt which is a shame at £18 a place. Don’t think I’ll run this again, just seems a lot of money for not a lot really.

Arrived a little late (but well within the start window) hence the reduced atmosphere. Disappointed that the event wasn't chip-timed but gun timed. Decent route.
