Dunoon Ultra

The Dunoon/Loch Eck 55k Ultra will start from the famous Benmore Botanical Gardens approximately 5 miles outside of Dunoon (coach transfer from Dunoon incl). The route will initially head south down "Puddle Lane" passing by Uig Hall and then climbing up a most spectacular gorge path through Pucks Glen, here you will be treated to a mixture of magical waterfalls and jurassic like fauna! Once on the forestry trail you head north climbing high above Loch Eck. Take the time to absorb the stunning scenery as you will be treated to spectacular views north and south of the Loch, particularly as you reach the highest section of the run 600m above sea level.
