Route information
Take in the breathtaking scenery of the trail, hills, river and forests of the Dyfi valley as you race either the Half or Full marathon distance. The Half distance is the UTMB 20k category, the marathon distance is a UTMB qualifier for the 50k category. The Half Marathon will have a height gain of 600m gain over the mixed terrain course, this will be a hilly challenging half. The Marathon route will also be challenging and will have a 1250m height gain including some technical terrain.

By Train
Aberdyfi is on the Cambrian Coastline. Aberdyfi station is a 1-minute walk from registration. You can catch the train directly from Birmingham.
By Car
Aberdyfi is situated on the coast at the south end of Snowdonia National Park, between Barmouth and Aberystwyth. It is a 2-hour drive from Chester and 90 mins from Shrewsbury. The post code is LL25 0NR.

Marathon cut-off
You must complete the first 10.6k in 1hr 25minutes. If you do not make this cut-off time you will be asked to drop into the Half Marathon.
Toilets
There will be public toilets available by the Tourist Information Centre, there are also toilets available in the Yacht Club.
Aid stations
There will be marshalled aid stations with sweet and savoury snacks with water and electrolytes, approximately every 7k.
