The course begins on the Sea Wall opposite the Beach Cafe Bar. From here runners will then run west towards St Mary’s Bay before turning back on themselves past the start line. From here, you will continue East along the sea wall for another before making another U-turn and heading west along the Sea Wall to the finish.

There will be ample parking available for participants to use.
By Car
There will be free parking at Dymchurch Village Hall which is a 4 minute walk from the start line. There are other pay & display car parks nearby.
Bus
The event location is serviced by the 101 or the 102 buses.

Disappointed that it doesn’t go onto power of 10 although England Athletics affiliated. I feel a few more helpers were needed. I loved the course. It was a small gathering so not so atmospheric! Pleased a lot of the fee goes to a good cause.

Some comments on the raceFirstly the map sent out was not that clear and also there were no signs near the venue for directions nor for parking area.Registration in a cramped room/cafe.The course did not have any klms markers along the route so difficult to know how far one had run. This is essential for any race.We were assembled at a poorly signed start line on the road and then had to wait almost 10 minutes for a martial to get to the turn round point before we could start. Had the weather been colder or wet this would have been most disconcerting.At the end of the race there was no funnel and had to weave through other runners and spectators.No visible banners at start and end of the race. Also very few martials and poor drinks station.No martial handing out medals. Had to go back to my car to get my track suit and then return to the start to find a martial to pick up my medal. Found the medal martial wandering around and was not asked for any proof that I had completed the run.Results do not record runners age so unable to compare against other runners. No search box for athletes name for ease of location in the results.No age group awards.Overall no more than second rate.Michael

I found it very boring the sea wall seemed to go on forever . Plus the course was not measured correctly .. it was short .

Disappointed that the event is still not chip timedHowever more importantly……. Everyone was measuring the course as about 250m short!!Quite a discrepancy on a course location such as that, running on a walled promenade out and back.

Course was short, given every runner’s watch confirmed this, it didn’t seem like it would have been hard to accurately measuring using a watch. The medal is generic and doesn’t give the name of the race. I wasn’t offered water at the water station (it was unclear it was a water station) and only given half a cup of water at the finish. No signage to point people the right way. Conflicting information given in the body of the runner email to that on the attached flyer that was sent out with the email.

Good friendly experience —- nice course - amazing views.and fantastic atmosphere.Will def sign up to next years one — oh and great organisation throughout - well done to the team
