By Public Transport

Loughborough is the closest train station to the start, situated 5 miles away. From here, ride the number 1 bus (towards Nottingham), alighting at Lantern Lane. East Leake Leisure Centre is a short 7 minute walk from there.

08:00 Sprint Triathlon starts *Accurate start times will be communicated to registered participants closer to race day.

Spectator Info

This race is perfect for spectators! Entry to the venue is free (please use the designated public car parks in the village), the event site is really compact meaning you can be cheered on coming out the swim into transition and the majority of the run is also super close to your support crew! Finish line and transition is at the heart of the event hub.

Coffee and food vendors also will be present!

Do I need to be a British Triathlon Member in order to participate in the East Leake Triathlon?

No, anyone is able to participate. However you will be charged at extra £6 for your entry to cover the cost of a BTF day licence.

I was guiding my visually impaired friend on our first triathlon today. The organisers could not have been kinder to enable this to happen. We had a clear lane for the swim and thoughtful racking for the tandem. We both really enjoyed it and bow have a pb to beat next time! :)

Volunteers were very helpful. The swim was a little frustrating and chaotic but not a lot more can be done. The route was well sign posted.
