Route information

The run will start in the car park, where you will take the forest path and bridleways towards Upper Burbage. You will go on to Higger Tow and Carl Wark, before heading towards Millstone Edge. Be sure to take in the beautiful views as you run.

There may be the option to split into two smaller groups if the pace varies drastically between runners. Either way, you will be accompanied by a guide throughout so you don't need to worry about getting lost - just enjoy the run. The pace will be gentle, with a social atmosphere.

By Car

Follow the A625 and continue through Fox House onto owler bar Road, the parking area is at Woodcroft Car Park, opposite the Moorland Discovery Center.

The Longshaw estate has a big car park available, parking fees are £3.50 for 4 hours or £5 for the day.

Great running duo, made you feel in safe hands without the worry of getting lost in a vast environment. Nice pace, friendly with a great route, views and mixed elevation so not to much up hill. Looking forward to booking again. Thanks First Light Active
