Did the race in 2022
The course was in a very nice picturesque setting and easy free close parking. But there has been no email of our results, the live results were wrong, they got my name wrong (Alexandra!), and my girlfriend had a wrong time recorded. Getting a time is the most important part of the event, could someone confirm my time! We weren’t even on the list when we turned up to collect our numbers. The course was nice however the grass could have been mowed to create a path as it was long and uneven ground, hard to run on. Good finish line atmosphere. I would like to do the run again properly

When finishing no one to give medal had to search for it and no goodie bag as advertised. Course challenging and slippery.

Good organisation, good parking at event made it easy to organise, small enough to not struggle from any logistic issues.

There was little infrastructure in the so called event Village. The tents did not have a sidewall, so wind was blowing everything away. The water station was plastic cups instead of bottled water, the after race 'pick me up' was a piece of jaffa cake and a piece of cookie. The course track was mostly muddy -thats due to the weather- but might have considered a change of course to reduce risk of injury on the muddy slippery Hills where we were all scared to flip our ankles on the side. The great point of that the medal is nice. The results... we'll some are not even on the site and those that are there are incorrect names, incorrect bib numbers and in my case even the time is incorrect.

Well organised and friendly. Definitely need your trail shoes as it’s over grass, undulating meadow and mud as well as paths.

Well organised by a very friendly crew. Course was well marked (one pretty tough hill!) and beautiful. Parking, toilets, bag drop and refreshments all very well executed. Big thank you for a fun morning.

Beautiful setting in the grounds around Englefield House. It’s a new event so the number of participants was quite small, therefore there wasn’t a great atmosphere but overall it was well organised and all marshals were brilliant. Lovely medal. Disappointed that there seems to be a problem with the results, as they are incomplete.

It was a good challenging race - however the joining instructions were disappointing- organisers encouraged you to use parking in the town but then didn’t give a map or explain properly how to get to the start! Am also disappointed that I do not appear to have a chip time - nor does anyone who took longer than 65 minutes to do the race!
