Hadleigh Park is the third instalment in the Essex Cross Country 10k series. Great for anyone up for a new test, this mixed terrain route will take you over exposed roots and under low hanging branches. Come for one race, or all five, and earn your finisher's medal each time you race.

Route information
This is the 3rd event of five in the Essex 10k series, running from May - September. Runners can take part in individual races or the entire series.
The mixed terrain course will take you over gravel pathways, through woodland, and across grassy plains, with exposed tree roots and overhanging branches throughout. While this is designed to test, the race is suitable for runners of all levels.
The route will consist of two laps, and it is asked that runners please be aware of other members of the public who are using the park.

Hadleigh Park car-parking costs £1.50 per hour and is operated on a Pay upon Exit system. It is capped at £6, however. There are 400 spaces.
By Train
The closest stations to Hadleigh Park are Benfleet and Leigh-on-Sea, which are both served by a regular c2c service to and from Fenchurch Street, London.

Age Requirements
Entrants must be 15 and older to enter the event.
Water Stations
Water stations will be available after the completion of each lap and the course will be marshalled and distance marked throughout.

Can I leave my bag at the start?
Bag drop will be catered for at this event. However, in the interest of space please try to limit the amount of extra baggage you bring.

There is no strict time limit in place. However, as a result of venue restrictions the start and finish area may need to be deconstructed after about 1hour and 30minutes.

Dogs are not allowed at the event. Entries may be accepted from participants with medical assistance dogs, subject to them being correctly registered and identifiable as such, and subject to prior approval by the Event Director.
Can I wear headphones at the Hadleigh Park 10k - Essex Cross Country Series?
Noise cancelling headphones are not permitted, and other headphones are discouraged but can be used. It is asked that entrants set them to a low volume to ensure they can hear their surroundings.
