Event was good. Nice flat coarse, great to try and get a 10k PB. Only issue was that the directions from race number pick up to the start line was not clear.

Good course and well organised but would have felt more comfortable if there was a secure bag drop. Enjoyed layout of course and the scenery.

The run itself was fine although running the same route twice was a bit boring but nice to have a flat run for PB aim. It was hard to hear the organiser speak before the race started, same last year. Also it would have been good if they had set runners out in order of speed/how quickly they plan to finish as it made the first few mins quite challenging as it was a mesh of paces. It would have been great to have had a little more cheering and positivity before, during and after - maybe music or an organised warm up in the Piazza and the stewards were not overly friendly - all in all I felt I was one of few runners who cheering on others as I ran which surprised me, although I understand that’s out of your control!

It was an enjoyable event helped by the sunny weather. I don't mind 2 lap races as it's easier to pace yourself. If there's one thing to criticise it was the map of the course. It was too small to read and enlarging it just blurred it. However the helpful marshal and orange arrows soon had me in the right direction to the start. I think the numbers were about right for the course, anymore and it would have been too crowded, especially with cyclists etc also on the path.

I enjoyed it but it would have been a lot better if the course had been closed to the public for the duration. As it was an out and back course there was runners going in both directions plus cyclists and walkers, and it really wasn't wide enough to accommodate everyone comfortably. There was a good atmosphere though and the medal was nice but didn't say Exeter on it.
