Enjoy a scenic half marathon along Exeter’s historic Quayside and around the Riverside Valley Park. Spread over two days, you can choose whether you want to take part in the competitive Saturday race or the more relaxed Sunday event. A great introduction to half marathon running, come and earn your medal.
Alongside the Exeter Half Marathon we are holding a 5 mile event. Our aim is always to encourage as many participants as is possible for our events and to cater for all abilities, this 5 mile run allows flourishing runners to take part and also some of our younger runners.

Route information
2025's Half Marathon will take place on Saturday February 8th and Sunday February 9th. The two lap 13.1 mile course will commence from the Piazza Terracina, Haven Road and take a scenic route along Exeter’s historic Quayside and around the Riverside Valley Park.
The Saturday and Sunday events are now open to all with an extended maximum completion time of 3 hrs. As well as the pride that comes with finishing a half marathon, you’ll receive a bespoke medal for your efforts.

The Riverside 5 Miles
The route will take you along the Exeter Quayside, through the scenic Riverside Valley Park and back to the finish line at Haven Banks to pick up your medal.
