Route information
Long Route
Starting in Umberleigh, you will ride 18k over rolling hills before heading onto the moor. After Exford, you'll head over three short climbs including Drapers Way, before descending into Porlock and the first feed.
Straight out of town is the most famous climb of the day, 4km at over 9%. The road then stays close to the coast with punchy climbs in and out of Lynton.
The route then reaches Coombe Martin, followed by a climb over the moor all the way to Simonsbath. The route will come full circle as you end in Umberleigh.
Medium Route
Starting in Umberleigh, you will ride 18k over rolling hills before heading onto the moor. After Exford, you'll head over three short climbs including Drapers Way, followed by a descent into Porlock & the first feed.
The last 30k are the easiest part of the route but there are still a couple of lumps to get over before finishing with a well earned pint back in Umberleigh.

Did the race in 2022
There wasn’t enough signage to indicate hazards. My friend had an accident on an extremely tight bend, whilst we were making sure he was ok another 2 riders almost did the same which was wholly avoidable. Similarly with a very pot holes section of road. I’d done the Tour of the Peak District the week before and it was clearly signed if a hazard was there.
