Here are the distances available for Faccombe Backyard Ultra
Elevation: 750ft per loop
One Lap = 4.12 miles
Every hour, on the hour, participants must start and complete a loop. If you don't start, are late or don't finish a loop within the hour then your race is over. The faster you complete the loop, the more time you will have to rest; although, if you run too fast, then you will burn yourself out. Careful planning is the key to success! The winner must complete one solo lap.
This route is completely off-road, taking place on a private estate. You will race over well-established tracks with a few hills along the way.
- Bespoke medal and trophy for winner and £250 donation towards travel costs should you be invited to the Big Backyard in Tennessee.
- Medals for key ultra distances (50 miles, 100 miles, 150 miles etc)

This is a self-supported event. You are allowed to bring a crew of up to 2 people with you to support you with aid and food/water.
There will be hot water available with tea and coffee to hand. There will be toilets on site.
You must complete one lap within the hour in order to continue on with the run.
