Route information
This Christmas Lights Running Tour will see groups of 10 people running around London at its most festive time of the year.
While the route will remain the same, there are different paces available depending on the speed you are most comfortable with.
The Gentle Jingle
This is for people who are comfortable running 10k in 12-13 minute miles.
The Merrily Medium
This is for people who are comfortable running 10k in 11-12 minute miles.
The Festively Fast
This is for people who are comfortable running 10k in 9 minute miles.
The Tour
The group will meet at Trafalgar Square (near the fountains), home of London's iconic Christmas Tree.
From there, the group will fly through the streets of the capital and you'll be able to marvel at the famous lights of Carnaby Street, Regent Street, Trafalgar Square, Oxford Street, Paddington, Kensington Palace, Bond Street and many more places you may not be familiar with.
The tour will last about 2 hours and finishes at Notting Hill Station.
Each speed falls across different dates throughout the year, so if you can't find the one you're looking for then be sure to check out another date.
*If you don't feel you can run at the Merrily Medium pace, it is advised that you change to the Gentle Jingle events so you can enjoy the sights more.

Will I be able to keep up?
Runners are asked to sign up to the group that they are most comfortable with, so you should be grouped with runners of a similar pace.
See Course Details above for information on speeds. If you aren't sure which pace you should choose it is advised that you air on the side of caution and choose the slower pace. This allows a more enjoyable run and gives you more time to see the sights.
What if I can't make this date but I want to participate?
Please note that the above groups are available on several different dates throughout December, so if you can't make one, check out the other dates on Let's Do This.
How large are the groups for each pace?
Group sizes are kept at no more than 10 runners to ensure a safe run for all.
What if I can't run a 10k?
There are some 5k dates available on Let's Do This also for runners who want a shorter distance.
