Route information
10K - A fantastic mixed terrain route consisting of grass, gravel, a little tarmac and sand section. The course is very undulating at the start, before levelling off around 1.5 miles in. This route has some brilliant views of Lochore meadows, the old mine shaft and Lochgelly doing a clockwise loop of the loch before returning back towards the finish line. You must be 12 years or older on race day to enter. Half Marathon - The half marathon takes in the full 10K course with some added extras in there. This route will include some muddy off road climbs / descents and will give you breath-taking views of both Lochore and Loch Leven from Benarty Hill. There is also a longer tarmac / grass section that needs to be used to make up the distance. You must be 16 years or older or race day to enter. We like to think this event is open to everyone, however we would like to make you aware there is over 1300ft of climbing. Please note there is a 4 hour cut off.
