The swim starts from South Queensferry leaving at Hawes pier and is swam along by the rail bridge to finish at the old pier at North Queensferry, a distance of 1.4 miles. On application all swimmers must submit an expected completion swim time. Due to the water conditions and time constraints all entrants will have to agree to the disclaimer for this event.

Get full directionsBy Car:
From the South: Follow the signs for Forth Road Bridge. Once across the bridge, take the B981 exit from the A90. Drive into North Queensferry on Main Road which becomes Main Street. Past Battery Road on the left. The Albert Hotel is on the left.
From the North: Turn off the M90 at Junction 1 and onto the A90. Then follow above directions.
