Take part in this stunning sprint plus triathlon in Fishguard Bay, Wales. A well organised event, welcoming back regular triathlon athletes and beginners. You'll complete a 950m swim, 30 mile bike and 4 mile run with routes along the gorgeous coastline including a run along the Goodwick Sea Wall.

Route information
This Sprint Plus Distance triathlon consists of a 950m swim, 30 mile bike and 4 mile run in and around the Fishguard Bay area.
Swim - 950m
You'll complete an out-and-back swim route in the Fishguard Bay, protected on two sides with a breakwater making it a sheltered route.
Bike - 30 miles
Beginning with a steady 3-mile ascent, to St David and head back into Fishguard for T2 and the run leg of the race. The cycle leg is on fully closed roads.
Run - 4 miles
The run course will be a one-lap route around the Fishguard Bay surroundings including running up the Goodwick Sea Wall. The first 1.5 miles will be mostly flat, with a gentle uphill for the next mile and a downhill last half mile to propel you to the finish.

At Haverfordwest take the 2nd exit towards Fishguard on both roundabouts

When you arrive at Fishguard, take the 1st exit on the roundabout towards Goodwick

Accommodation
There are many accommodation options in the local area including; Fishguard Hotel, Seaview Hotel, Glendower Hotel, Rose and Crown, Hope and Anchor Inn, The Manor Town House and Old Police House.
Camping
There will be camping available onsite for tents and camper vans - with shower and toilet facilities. The camping will be at the Phoenix Centre (What-3-Words: ///dust.scatters.zealous).

Registration
You collect your race number and timing chip from registration either the evening before or the morning of the event. You can only register for yourself and will need to bring your ID and disclaimer in order to register. Registration will be held at the Phoenix Centre
Age Requirements
You will need to be aged 14 or over on event day to participate in the Sprint Plus Triathlon.
Transition - Racking your bike
Make sure you have numbered your bike and helmet with the numbers provided at registration
Your helmet must be on and fastened before entering the transition
Racks are not numbered they will be laid out equally and fair for all
Only the cyclist on the relay team can use their bike at transition
Prize giving
There will be a prize giving 5 minutes after the top 3 male and female finishers cross the finish line.
Race Rules

You cannot run with headphones.

Drafting is strictly prohibited and may result in your disqualification.

You may wear your own swim hat but the event swim hat MUST be worn on top.

You can only swim front-facing strokes. Backstroke is not allowed.
Kit List
- Wetsuit (wetsuits are mandatory) that covers the torso and thighs. It must not cover the hands or feet
- Bike (Tri Bars are allowed)
Spectator Info
This is a great event for spectators to come out and support. There will be a number of local cafes and restaurants open early on Saturday morning catering to athletes, spectators and supporters.

Yes, wetsuits are mandatory and must cover the torso and thighs and not the hands and feet.

Yes you will. Swim caps must be worn, you can wear your own swim cap underneath the one issued to you.
