Get along to Guildford for this ever-popular cross-country running event. Perfect for runners of all stripes, the course will take you up some formidable hills and is renowned for its tough nature. Come for the 1st event of the G3 series and to take home that cherished finisher's medal.

The Fitstuff G3 2020 route serves up a formidable challenge, with hills, mud, sand and even more hills.

G3 I consist of 10KM and 5KM route options.

This ever-popular event is notorious for its epic course and sells out fast.

Lovely route with beautiful views and some tasty hills. Friendly bunch of runners of varied ability from the fast runners to those taking it easier up the hills. Marshals very encouraging and helpful round the whole course. Free massage available at the end of the race

0700:** Registration opens0815: Registration closes

0830: Race begins

Please arrive at least 45 minutes before the scheduled race start to ensure there is plenty of time to complete the registration process.


It would be great to see as many supporters along to Newlands Corner as possible.


AAT-events is a small organisation with 3 staff. In order to continually deliver their great events, they need the help of volunteers.

Each event is seamlessly delivered with help from volunteers, without whom the events simply wouldn’t work. Volunteers are the core to delivering these fun and safe events.

Guildford or West Clandon train stations are the nearest, but it is advised that you cycle or get a lift to this event.

You must pay for parking using the RingGo app. Simply download the App now and set up your account. You pay via the App on race day.

Be Aware:
Parking at Newlands Corner is limited, and parking will incur a charge of £1.30 per hour. Pay via RingGo before you leave the house. Please share a lift and park tightly.

Cycle (plenty of trees to chain your bike to), run. walk, parachute in or run to the venue to help reduce congestion. If you have to drive, please use the G3 Series Facebook page to coordinate your lift.

Frequently asked questions
Will there be aid stations?
Yes, however, there will be no plastic cups, but instead an Aid Station crew with water barrels and jugs. You could run with your own water supply or carry a reusable plastic cup, available on race sign up or on race day for £3.50. AAT are going single-use plastic cup free in 2020, in an effort to preserve the epic surroundings which house there races.
Is there on-site baggage storage?
Bags can be left in the white van during the event.
Will there be toilets?
There will be public loos and temporary toilets.
Are there going to be refreshments?
Our famous home-made flapjacks and brownies as well as bananas will be provided, and there are two cafes on site at Newlands Corner.
