What to bring
Under current British Triathlon Federation rules, the following temperatures are enforced for events to ensure the best safety for swimmers:
Swim Length: Up to 1,500m
Wetsuit Forbidden Above: 22°C
Wetsuit Mandatory Below: 14°C
Tri suits, swimming trunks etc. are fine. If wetsuits are banned then competitors are OK to swim without tops on, so bare torsos are permitted, but only for the swim leg. Sports bras are fine, but again, athletes must cover up for the rest of the race.
Please note an updated water temperature reading will be provided in the lead-up to the event.
All bikes must be racked by 9.40am. You can leave your race gear in the transition area. Please note that only those taking part are allowed in to transition.
Wearing a helmet is mandatory for the bike portion for the race.

Did the Sprint Triathlon in 2021
Poor communications in the lead up to this event, emails inaccurate. “You have been sent a temporary password”. “You will be sent a start time and race number”, none of which happened. Had to arrive at start and hope for the best. Even my result is appearing in the wrong age group. Great course and marshals. First out the water had to throw the crowd barrier to one side and it hadn’t been removed at the start of the race. Would I race here again, yes but would it with this event organiser, probably not. Disappointing.
