Route information
This event is in aid of brainstrust, a charity founded in 2006 which aims to make everyone with a brain tumour feel less afraid, less alone and more in control. As such, there is a minimum fundraising target of £500 for those entering which will go toward the amazing work that brainstrust does.
Day one's 25 mile trek will take you from Newburgh to Tentsmuir Forest. Walking along the Tay Estuary you will pass the Tay Bridge with a view toward Dundee, before arriving at the Tenstmuir National Nature Reserve and its breathtaking beach.
Day two will begin in the small fishing village of Elie which looks back over to North Berwick. The route will then take you back up the coast through the quintessential Fife fishing villages of Anstruther and Pittenweem - home of Scotland's best fish and chips. Eventually you will arrive in the town of St Andrews where you can experience its famous historical landmarks.
What's included
