Route information
This event is in aid of brainstrust, a charity founded in 2006 which aims to make everyone with a brain tumour feel less afraid, less alone and more in control. As such, there is a minimum fundraising target of £500 for those entering which will go toward the amazing work that brainstrust does.
Day one's 25 mile route will begin in Whitby before heading toward the impressive Falling Foss waterfall and then on to Flyingdale Moor. Following your time spent in the moorland's, the walk will loop back around onto the scenic Cleveland Way, through Robin Hood's Bay, before eventually arriving back at Whitby Abbey.
Day two starts with a vehicle transfer to Danby Beacon, where your second 25 mile trek will commence. Once again you will head into the moorlands before arriving in the picturesque fishing harbour of Staithes. After Staithes the walk will take you to Runswick Bay and then onto Sandsend, where the end is in sight.
