Did the race in 2019
I entered the half marathon but found the course had long climbs that were pretty tiring. I also had a problem with a nagging Achilles heel pain so I opted out after the first of two laps and completed the 10k instead. Organisers very happy to make this change. My only gripe was that they claim they are running a 10k event but actually they are instead running a quarter marathon - hence the length is over half a kilometre over a measured 10k. It just makes it impossible to make a comparison between other 10k runs and this one. They admit to a lack of a provision of loos and long queuing to register was a pain. Good that parking is free. Lovely location and friendly event.
