Route information
Taking place at the stunning, wildlife-rich Caldecotte Lake, this event features both marathon and half marathon races. The Lake is home to Milton Keynes' Canoe and Rowing Clubs and is a favourite with local anglers.
Starting and finishing at the Caldecotte Lake Pub, both races have entirely traffic-free routes. The marathon race consists of 7.5 laps of the Lake, whilst the half marathon takes runners for 3.5 laps around its shoreline.

The race start is located 150 yards off of the A5, and just 3 miles from the M1, making it easily accessible by car.
There is a large car park at the pub where the run starts, with plenty of free parking available.
By Public Transport
The nearest station is located at Bow Brickhill, a 20-minute walk away from the race start. Regular services run between Bow Brickhill and Bletchley and Bedford.

The marathon has a hard time limit of 7 hours. Anyone who finishes over this time will be recorded as a DNF.
