Explore Sywell Country Park by traversing its woodland trail and stone pathways around its beautiful Reservoir. The elevation of the course is around 150ft with a large climb each lap. The rest of the challenge's course is undulating with fantastic woodland scenery as you enter Hayes Wood. This challenge is not for the faint of heart due to the climb each lap - but then would it really be a challenge? There is only a one lap minimum requirement so anyone from beginner to advanced is welcome to join.

Sywell country Park (NN6 0QX) is on the ouskirts of Northampton and 13 minutes from Junction 15 of the M1 and Junction 8 of the A14.
Parking Costs up to £5.20 depending on how long you are parked for.
By Train / Public Transport The closest station is Northampton. You can take the x46 Gold Bus from Northgate and jump off at Worlds End PH. From there it is a mile walk to the start line. Alternatively, get a taxi from the station.

17 and over only for the Fox Challenge.
There will be on site toilets located at the cafe and toilet block near to the event HQ.
To help save the environment this is a cup-less event so please bring your own water bottle or hydration pack.
Trail shoes may be required in the woodland trail as it can get quire muddy but road shoes should also been fine.

The majority of our events are challenge events - multi-lap races with a time limit rather than a set distance. This means people can run all different distances on the same day, making for a great atmosphere. Lapped events can get some negative feedback but our laps are around beautiful locations. We avoid out and back laps and coming back to the wonderful aid station (full of your requests) can be a good motivator. Whether it's your A race, you need to do some long training runs, you have a 100-mile ultra in a few weeks or you want to hammer out a quick 10k, our races allow everyone to get involved together. We’re also expanding our mid-week evening 10K series too. Keep an eye out for updates on these as we are continually adding more. Expect the same care and attention and in the same great locations!

Can I run with my dog at the Fox Challenge?
Unfortunately, you cannot run with your dog at the Big Bear Fox Challenge.
Can I stop whenever I want at the Fox Challenge?
Yes, you are welcome to take as many stops on the way as you like. The minimum amount of laps before finishing is one.
