About
This special event is a fundraiser for Ukraine, put your running shoes on and show your support on 6th August. There will be 1.5km, 2.5km, 5km, 10km and half-marathon distances. All money raised goes to specific humanitarian & medical or military focused charities. Freedom Run 2.0 aims to level up the scale of the 2022 event and gather those willing to run and support Ukraine in its fight against tyranny. Our partner charities provide a greater optionality in terms of use of funds to resonate with what is closest to you & needed most in Ukraine now. To maximise impact, Freedom Run 2.0 is open to individual runners, runners willing to fundraise, teams and volunteers. More details on our website.

Route information
Distribution of the start packages to the participants will be held next to the Bandstand at Battersea Park prior to the race. Runs for all distances will commence at the same time, with the exception of a 1.5km race (for kids) and 2.5km (for those willing to walk).
Running at Battersea Park, one lap is roughly 2.5km. The team of Freedom Run 2.0 will strive to make this race more than just a race, but an event which will gather like-minded individuals who care about the war and its victims. Despite the cause, we think that making the event as friendly and warm as possible is our key aim. We plan to have modern Ukrainian live music on the day, with light food and other refreshments for those running and supporting.
