Route information
Funky Planet is a fun run like you've never experienced before. As you blast off the start line, you will orbit through four themed 'worlds', each of which includes an epic inflatable obstacle, and an added element of foam, water, colour powder or slime for a truly out of this world experience.
The course will be two laps of the 2.5km route, totalling 5km, passing through each of the worlds twice, climbing, crawling and sliding your way over 12 themed obstacles.
The 4 worlds you will explore will be:
Over the Rainbow: add a splash of colour to your summer as you are covered head to toe in colourful powder
Jungle Fever: the UK's first and only slime run will see you journeying through an inflatable jungle oozing with sticky slime
Life's a Beach: transport yourself to the seaside as you splash through beach-themed obstacles
No Place like Foam: burst your way through this bubbly world, facing the craziest obstacles on the course while being blasted with foamy fun
Funky Planet is not a race, and participants are encouraged to run, walk, jog or dance their way through this journey of discovery.

Event day logistics
Raceday information: Participants will receive a pre-departure email, which will be sent to you about 2 weeks before the event.
Schedule:
11:00: First wave launch
11:30: Second wave launch
Please arrive at least 45 minutes before race time to ensure plenty of time for registration
Age Restrictions:
Funky Planet is designed for anyone aged 12 and over, however, the obstacles may be challenging for children as they have been designed for adults. Participants between 12 and 15 need to accompanied around the course at all times by a paying, participating adult that is 18+.
Bag Drop:
There will be a bag drop in the Event Village.
Spectator Info
Spectators are welcome to come join and observe the festivities and get in the spirit at the awesome finish-line party.

The powder is non-toxic and non-irritant to skin and conforms to EN-71-3 Standards. It is non-combustible and non-explosive.The bubble mixture is a very mild and dilute soap. The foam created degrades very quickly and is not harmful to wildlife or vegetation.
Do I have to complete every obstacle in the Funky Planet course?
No, completing every obstacle is not required so please take the course as you feel on the day.
Can I bring my dog to Funky Planet?
Unfortunately, no dogs are allowed anywhere in the Funky Planet Event Village or on the course.

Funky Planet is designed for those over the age of 12. Those aged 12-15 will need to be accompanied by a paying adult at all times around the course.
