Managed to park only a 5 minute walk away near the golf course. Pre entered and was quickly given my number. Congested start but to be expected for the turnout. Nice course, flat with a few undulations. Well marshalled with no chance of a wrong turn. Well organised event. If you like 10k road races I would recommend this event.

Garstang 10k is a good way of getting back into the swing of things after the December festivities! Lots of helpful marshals for parking and the race itself. About 90% of the race is on roads but I felt safe the whole way round with plenty of marshals taking care of traffic management. The course is relatively flat and fast with a few rolling hills \ bridges to add a little challenge. Lots of support from spectators at the start and end of the race. The race is popular with local running groups, why not join a club and see if you can help your club win the team events! I'm looking forward to trying to beat my time next year!

Great run, well organised,a picturesque run, mainly in the countryside.Street parking very close by if you need it.Good facilities on site pre and post race in the school.Only gripe would be cupped water rather than bottled mid race, but that said,I very well run event and thoroughly enjoyable
