Route information
The routes follow a mostly flat, paved route starting and finishing at the Fisherman’s Walk in Bournemouth.
Both routes head down to the promenade to run the fast and flat stretch to Hengistbury Head. From here it's a quick run around and up to the top to enjoy the breathtaking views.
With a mostly downhill second half back to the finish line (plus a bit of a zig zag up right at the end), this is a great route with beautiful views.
The half marathon includes additional promenade segments, along with exploring wooded areas West of Bournemouth Pier.
