Route information

The route begins at Covent Garden, the heart of London's festive illuminations

From there, you will run through the streets of the capital marvelling at the lights of Carnaby Street, Regent Street, Seven Dials, Oxford Street, Trafalgar square and many more places you may not be familiar with.

After 80 minutes of festive fun, the run will end at Oxford Circus Station.

The Gentle Jingle is for people who are comfortable running 10k in 12-13 minute miles. If you would like to do this event at a faster pace, please check out the Merrily Medium 5k event.

Covent Garden is easily accessible by tube and it sits on the Piccadilly line.

Leicester Square Station (Northern Line) and Holborn (Central) are a 10min walk away from Covent Garden tube.

The run will begin at 1800.

Please arrive at least 10 minutes beforehand so the group can set off on time.

Please note that under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.

Will I be able to keep up?

Your guide will run at the pace of the slowest runner so that no one is left behind. However it can be difficult to accommodate your pace if it is wildly slower than the pace you and the rest of the runners on your tour have signed up for.Runners are asked to sign up to the group that they are most comfortable with, so you should be grouped with runners of a similar pace. Gentle Jingle (if you're comfortable running 5k in 12-13 minute miles)Merrily Medium (if you're comfortable running 5k in 10-11 minute miles)Please note that the above groups are available on several different dates throughout December, so if you can't make one, check out the other dates on Let's Do This.

Is there a longer version of this event?
