Route information

This will be a dark course, lit up by runners in bright clothes and glow sticks as well as light shows along the way to brighten up the night.

Glow Fun Night Run

This 5k fun run will be a 1 lap loop along the pavement on the east side of Dorney Lake.

Glow Speed of Light

10k - this will be one 'horse shoe' lap of the return lake and the main lake.
15k - runners will complete one 'horse shoe' lap followed by one 5k lap.
20k - this route will take two 'horse shoe' laps.

I enjoyed the event but it would have been better to have received the e mail with info earlier - especially when it involved having to buy a head torch

For a glow event - there were not many lights - just the start/finish and the middle bridge - felt very budget - there could have been glow sticks along the course which would have helped as path markers, as the path edges weren't marked. Also no marshalls on the course did make you feel a bit exposed it was very dark. Not many participants so the atmoshphere was a little quiet - but ont he plsu side a good flat 10km with no pushing/shoving and time to run your own race - easy parking and convenient loos!

It’s weird you have to get there so early to pick up your number. There is nothing to do there. And so few people take part. It’s a beautiful area but there’s nothing to see and you do the same lap of 5k so it feels like a repetitive park run in the dark. The two light shows were fun but that’s quite limited. Having no music makes the whole thing seem a bit pointless. Would suggest finding a more interesting route, like actually in Windsor.

Course really great. Staff really nice.Van that we followed super smart.Music would have helped increase the vibe, appreciate this may not have been possible. Maybe quiet music?Trackers were bulky and heavy.Would have been great if the medals were glow in the dark.A face painting booth for glow face paint would have been epic

Good flat course in the dark where people came with lots of glow stick bracelets and torches so that they could all be seen on the course. Good location

Better lit course with coloured lights etcBetter signage to get there. Postcode was wrong and directions to the event were awful.Better medal? Prompt start was great not many people running!

Great experience. Nice flat route. A few more areas lit up would be good. A couple of places on the course were very dark. Some music would have made a great atmosphere too. Overall great for a night run,
